The Hurricanes got the short end in College Park with a loss to the Terrapins, 75-70, in ACC play.

The fact is, the Hurricanes were expected to win this game. The Hurricanes have now split regular season games with the Terrapins, having beaten them earlier this season, 90-86.

Maryland created separation in assists, where there was a big gap, and also offensive rebounding.
