Kendall Williams from New Mexico Wins StatSheet NCAA Player of the Week - February 25th, 2013

With a solid performance that included going up against the #22 team in the nation, Kendall Williams, a 6-4 junior from New Mexico, has earned the StatSheet NCAA Player of the Week. StatSheet's NCAA Freshman of the Week is T.J. Warren from NC State and StatSheet's NCAA 6th Man of the Week is James Southerland from Syracuse.

Williams led the entire NCAA in scoring (46.0 pts per game) and three pointers (10.0 per game). He also put up a strong 80% shooting and 12 free throws per game, leading the Lobos to a win against 22nd ranked Colorado State.

This is the first StatSheet NCAA Player of the Week honor for Kendall Williams. The runner-up this week is Alex Kirk, a sophomore from New Mexico. Honorable mention goes to Trey Burke, a sophomore from Michigan.

StatSheet NCAA Freshman of the Week: NC State's T.J. Warren

T.J. Warren played an average of 30 minutes starting both games for the Wolfpack. In an 84-66 victory against Florida State, Warren led scoring and rebounding with 31 and 13, respectively. In a 76-65 loss to North Carolina, he had 10 rebounds and 50% shooting.

This is the first StatSheet NCAA Freshman of the Week award for Warren. Jordan Adams from UCLA gets runner-up. Josh Gray from Texas Tech takes honorable mention.

StatSheet NCAA 6th Man of the Week: Syracuse's James Southerland

Senior James Southerland averaged 30 minutes over two games for the Orange. In a big 84-59 win over Providence, Southerland led the Orange in scoring with 20 points shooting 87%. Then in a 57-46 loss to Georgetown, he led all scoring with 13 points and added 7 rebounds.

This is the first time this season Southerland has won the StatSheet NCAA 6th Man of the Week award. Chris Crawford, a junior guard from Memphis, is runner-up. Tyrus McGee, a senior guard from Iowa State, wins honorable mention.
